How does one banish a Tol'Neik demon?

- Drew: Don't know without looking it up -- probably in Bjorn's Guide to Demons, Vol. III.
- Erik: Harsh language.
- Tori: Uh... never heard of one.
- Kevin: Hot pot of boiling water & a stick of butter.
- Michael: Djinn falchion.

You awake in the middle of a pentagram, apparently painted onto the floor. Inside the pentagram with you are two orange candles, a small ball of string, 11 golden coins, and a bottle of 12-year old scotch.
What spell is about to be cast?
- Sam: Something I do not want to be part of.
- Drew: Don't know -- magic isn't my specialty.
- Erik: I don't know, but...
- Tori: I don't know, but it's probably bad.
- Kevin: Have not come across this spell.
- Michael: Closest would be a British attempt to summon / control a demon.
How do you stop it?
- Sam:
Use Pour Smash the bottle so the scotch smudges the pentagram, throw the coins at the spellcaster and walk out.
- Drew: Break the pentagram.
- Erik: ... have sex because these spells always require virgins.
- Tori: Breaking the pentagram might work (Josh would just drink the scotch).
- Kevin:Using Sight, find key pin of pentagram and reverse it from there.
- Michael: Draw falchion and step through beheading summoner. Only wine would possibly restrict.
You need to harvest 3 sprigs of holly for a banishment spell. When is holly most potent, and what tool will most efficiently gather the plant?
- Sam: The full moon; a silver sickle (see also: werewolves).
- Drew: Winter solstice; silver sickle.
- Erik: Winter solstice; silver sickle.
- Tori: I don't know. I'd have to look it up in our library.
- Kevin: Winter, silver sickle.
- Michael: Just prior to winter solstice w/ a sickle.
Facing 3 enemies armed with a falchion, a kris, and 2 sais respectively, which opponent will you attempt to deal with first and why?
- Sam: The one closest to me. He'll make a nifty shield against the others.
- Drew: Falchion guy. Falchions are easy to parry, so he'll be the easiest to fend off while Sam takes care of the other two. If I'm better than him, cool. Otherwise, I can just keep him at buy until Same finishes off the others and comes up to take out my guy.
- Erik: The guy with the sais, because sais are lame and hard to see when they are flashing about. Also, best to get the weakest fighter out of the way first.
- Tori: The one with the sais. He could throw them.
- Kevin: 2 sais, most likely weapon to be thrown.
- Michael: Sais b'c of speed.
Describe your standard approach towards isolating and identifying magical enchantments:
- Sam: Ask Kevin. If Kevin isn't available, look it up at Martense.
- Drew: "Hey, Kevin! There's some kinda spell thing going on over here. Check it out."
- Erik: 1) Call Kevin, Hartsdale, or Michael; 2) failing that, we hit the books (usually Martense Public Library).
- Tori: Usually, I just call Kevin. He can detect magic and has better research skills.
- Kevin: The Sight, observe the area.
- Michael:
How do you protect mundanes from learning the truth about what you do?
- Sam: Don't tell them.
- Drew: Secret base, keep weapons out of sight, don't fight bad guys in public. Mostly, though, you can just trust them to be in total denial.
- Erik: By acting like regular teen-age geeks. No one pays us any attention anyway.
- Tori: By always having a good cover story, by being discrete and, when given the choice, handling matters in private or out-of-the-way locations.
- Kevin: Don't do in front of them.
- Michael: PCP in the air.
What is the greatest threat facing Solomon today?
- Sam: Whatever it is, we'll deal with it.
- Drew: I wish I knew.
- Erik:
Vivian The demon below Solomon. (but let's not forget Vivian)
- Tori: Right now, things are pretty quiet. We just have to be ready for what shows up.
- Kevin: There is an unknown magical Influence in the area.
- Michael: Bathory's sponsor.
